camping tomorrow and friday. i am excited to chill with two of my faaavorite people. i haven't been with them both for only a few weeks now but it seems like an eternity, aghh! i bought supplies for a gourmet meal of hot dogs and a variety of deli salads. i organized most of this trip and i feel very accomplished, and i'm happy i can do something for them. it would also be freaakin sweet if some of our other buddies show up.
in other news, i get nothing productive done, ever. on that note, vegas next week.
i was strangely bummed out last night but i am feeling much better this evening.

to the lovely ladies reading this can you please take a moment and fill out a really brief survey on makeup? i need this oh-so-badly for a paper, and i would really appreciate it! i want to repay whoever fills this out, but am way too sleep-deprived, so if you fill it out, make note of a good bribe i can pay you back with :) I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER

hey there everybody.... i was supposed to go to knotts' scary farm halloween haunt tonight, but apparently i'm the only person that was able to buy a ticket in the entire universe. i don't have anybody to go with anymore, but was hoping maybe someone knew of people going along and wanted to buy one.. please please please! unfortunately it is only valid for tonight so this is wishful thinking, but maybe someone is just as desperate to get one as i am to get rid of mine. :)
basically, anybody that wants to make an offer gets it.... sorry i'm not going to post my cell, but if you reply/email me at aychambe@usc.edu i will be checking frequently

something on my journal that might be moderately interesting to some
okay, poll wouldn't cooperate
i am going to be writing a term paper for my mental health law class soon, where we have to examine some kind of issue that relates psychiatry and law. i need some suggestions from you FABULOUS people about what you'd want to read about (or any other possible suggestions)
1) The issues regarding higher costs of (health/life/etc) insurance for those diagnosed with mental disorders/on psychiatric medication. Why is this done, is it fair/unfair, what can be done to remedy this situation.
2) Adolescents being compared to the mentally retarded in Roper v. Simmons (whether juvenile death penalty is constitutional). Although it was already ruled unconstitutional, what are the implications of psychologists suggesting that teens are comparable to the retarded simply because they aren't grown up yet? How will this contribute to the future of the mental health law system?
3) State/federal support of those in permanent vegetative states - to what extent and for how long should the state be obligated to contribute? What level of parental/familial involvement should be required? Major issue: government pays for life/death penalty criminals to be supported for years. How is this comparable?
Any other suggestions/alterations welcome. Thank you all.

this journal is just sad without nightly apartment parties to post about.
well, i've been donating a lot of my oh-so-precious time to my other little homes on the net, mostly my myspace profile and my thefacebook profile. so yes.. if you are bored and want to keep tabs on me, go there. ;)
i will post something worthwhile eventually.

wow... i ran just over 16 miles today. although i hobbled and crawled and stumbled the last two or so, i feel so accomplished. that's pretty fucking awesome.
and for more good news, my dad just had an appointment with one of my psychology professors. who knew, but she has a super high opinion of me, and there's a possibility she might take me on as a research assistant.. little not-even-a-sophomore me. that would be amazing... not to mention i need all the financial aid i can get.
and trader joe's mushroom pizza and diet snapple pink lemonade is AMAZING after a long run.

the marvelous thing about college life is that you can walk across the street to the supermarket at 11:45PM on wednesday night and see three people you know there.
